The Edmonton Oilers and Vancouver Canucks are locked in a tight race for first place in the North Division. The Oilers currently trail the Canucks by three points, but have a game in hand.

The Canucks have been led by Elias Pettersson, who has 16 goals and 22 assists in 29 games this season. The two teams are scheduled to meet again on March 10th in Edmonton.
