Arianne Zuckers Lawsuit Against Days Of Our Lives Production Company

Arianne Zucker's Lawsuit Against "Days of Our Lives" Production Company

Emmy-Nominated Actress Alleges Wrongful Termination

Statement from Zucker's Attorney

Veteran soap actress Arianne Zucker, known for playing Nicole Walker on "Days of Our Lives" from 1998 to 2010, has filed a lawsuit against the show's production company, Corday Productions, and former director/executive producer Albert Alarr. In the lawsuit, Zucker alleges that she was wrongfully terminated from her long-running role on the show.

One day after filing the lawsuit, Corday Productions issued a statement denying Zucker's allegations. The statement said that Zucker was not wrongfully terminated and that her departure from the show was due to creative decisions. However, Zucker's attorney, Devin McRae, released a statement on Thursday disputing Corday's claims.

"We are confident that the evidence will show that Ms. Zucker was wrongfully terminated and that Corday Productions and Mr. Alarr violated her rights," McRae said in the statement. "We look forward to presenting our case in court and holding the defendants accountable for their actions."

Zucker's lawsuit alleges that Corday Productions and Alarr created a hostile work environment for her, including making inappropriate comments and engaging in sexual harassment. The lawsuit also alleges that Zucker was fired in retaliation for complaining about the hostile work environment.

The lawsuit is seeking unspecified damages, including lost wages, benefits, and emotional distress.

Updated with Statement from Alarr's Attorney

On Friday, Alarr's attorney, Dale Kinsella, released a statement denying Zucker's allegations. Kinsella said that Alarr "vehemently denies" the allegations of sexual harassment and retaliation.

"Mr. Alarr is a respected and experienced television producer," Kinsella said in the statement. "He has never engaged in any inappropriate behavior, and he is confident that he will be vindicated in this lawsuit."

The lawsuit is currently in the early stages of discovery, and it is expected to go to trial later this year.
