Max Verstappen Wins Inaugural F1 Sprint at Silverstone

Red Bull Racing driver Max Verstappen has won the inaugural F1 Sprint at the iconic Silverstone circuit, earning pole position for Sunday's British Grand Prix.
The Sprint, a new format introduced for the 2021 season, saw Verstappen finish ahead of Lewis Hamilton of Mercedes and Sergio Perez of Red Bull Racing.
Verstappen started from third on the grid but quickly moved into the lead on the opening lap. Hamilton and Perez followed closely behind, with the trio maintaining their positions throughout the 17-lap race.
The Sprint was the first time that Verstappen had started a race from outside the top two this season. The win gives him a major boost heading into the British Grand Prix, which he won in 2020.
